Rom. 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Although the will of God plays a very crucial role in the growth and sustainment of the fellowship that has come to exist between God and his saved child, this same will of God has also been the reason for the fall out of many with God. Reason is that most Christians don't know that the will of God exists in three categories or arithmetic progression and that God's expectation, desire and ultimate will, is that they move from one level to the other, this is what our text means by; proving what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

There are several good things in life that should, but do not necessarily make us or our lives better, one of such is marriage, Proverbs 18:22 tells us that whoso findeth a wife, findeth a good thing..., but relationships or marriages as seen by all today does not seem to suggest so, in fact many, rather than enjoy the good of marriage, it became the very thorn in their flesh while others even met with untimely death and loss of fellowship and eternity with God.

This is so because although salvation is the GOOD WILL of God, (For this is GOOD... in the sight of God our Saviour; Who WILLS that all men be saved. 1Tim. 2:3) it is not the end but in fact the entrance into the journey of God's glorious will and like marriage, to end here, is to rob oneself of God's promised good.

Now at salvation, the believer naturally earns or enters into the next level of spiritual existence, called the ACCEPTABLE WILL, (For this is GOOD and ACCEPTABLE,... 1Tim. 2:3). Here, although God accepts you as the baby that you are, ignorant, faults, flaws and all, he never wishes that you remain so. Failure to mature after sometime, God himself begins to open you up to certain chastisements and tutors in life, not to punish or destroy you but to train and grow you into his next and final will called, the PERFECT WILL. These tutors and the tests they present, come as your wife's resenting actions, boss, kids, peer and all other kinds of pressure, unemployment, sickness, etc, but because you refused to grow, what would have been a testimony, (Test-E-Money) (Test turned into Money) turned out otherwise, because it met you as a babe.  Hebrews 5:12 says; For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God...; this makes you nothing but a spiritual babe; (and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat).

And since being a babe is as good as being carnal, 1Cor. 3:2, I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? And since the result of carnality is DEATH; Rom. 8:6, For to be carnally minded is death; which if you had grown into the perfect will of God to master lust, carnality, anger, etc, by presenting your bodies as a living sacrifice and not conforming to this world, by understanding, talking, thinking and acting like them, but being transformed by the renewing of your mind via the exercise of the word, the test wouldn't have destroyed your relationship, ministry, home, etc, but made it stronger, after all, that same incident occurred elsewhere and that life, career, marriage, etc are still intact.

Beloved, the only CURE TO IGNORANCE is TRAINING yourself in the word.

Heb. 5:14

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised (TRAINED) to discern both good and evil. You can't escape training and expect to please God. It's time you take your divine school very seriously, Only then can you be said to be COMPLETING and LEAVING the elementary school classes of life. Heb. 6:1-3.

May God help us to yield ourselves to tutors and the training of life.
